Over 4 days we visited Paris during Easter. With the train ICE Velaro D from Strasbourg to Paris (DB ICE3 neo BR 407 polytension) and the TGV Inoui 540 (inOui) from Paris to Strasbourg back. Our hotel astotel 34B (#508) was just great and we walked und ride a lot with the fascinating métro from Ile de France mobilité.

The other church on the hill, Saint Pierre de Montmartre, built in 1147, was the church of the prestigious Montmartre Abbey. On 15 August 1534, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Saint Francis Xavier and five other companions bound themselves by vows in the Martyrium of Saint Denis, 11 Rue Yvonne Le Tac, the first step in the creation of the Jesuits.[4]
Musée Grévin
Fondé par Arthur Meyer, le musée tient son nom du célèbre réalisateur Alfred Grévin, qui a réalisé les premières sculptures en cire. Les visiteurs sont conduits à l’intérieur en groupes. Après avoir été admis dans cette salle en tant que groupe, les portes se ferment et le spectacle commence avec des lumières et un son étonnants.
Il y a plus de 200 figures de cire réalistes de personnes populaires dans différents domaines, d’hier et d’aujourd’hui. Vous avez la possibilité de prendre des photos avec vos stars, scientifiques ou politiciens préférés, tels qu’Albert Einstein, Michael Jackson, Mahatma Gandhi ou le pape. Il y a également de nombreuses scènes de l’histoire de France, comme Louis XIV à Versailles, la capture et la captivité de Louis XVI et de la famille royale ou Joanna de Lorraine en feu.

The official language for the first three events is English and for the fourth it is Spanish or Portuguese.
